We Invite You To Participate
Submit a Photo Image:
If you have lost a loved one to gun violence, consider having him or her memorialized on a Remember Me Quilt. All that is needed is a digital photo (preferred) or a hard copy print and a completed Remember Me Quilt Photo Release Form. The Remember Me Quilt Project handles the entire cost of quilt production.
Construct a quilt:
Experienced quilters – individuals or groups – are needed to cut quilt materials and assemble the quilt. All quilting materials, including quilt blocks, preprinted with the digital images, will be provided.
Tie a Quilt:
Individuals and/or groups are invited to complete this final step. No quilting experience is needed to tie a quilt.
Provide a venue for public exhibitions:
Galleries, museums, libraries, community centers and faith based facilities are asked to provide space to exhibit Remember Me Quilts.
Become a volunteer coordinator or facilitator:
Volunteers are needed to assist with activities beyond quilt construction. Please contact us for further information regarding how you can support the Remember Me Quilt Project.
Make a financial contribution:
Monetary donations, fabric and quilting supplies or gift cards to JoAnn Fabric are appreciated. We are a 501(c)(3) organization and contributions are tax deductible.
